Say No To China String
Let us applaud and appreciate the endeavor of our students for creating and spreading
awareness of the Killer Chinese String we use at various festivals for flying kites.
Our
students of 🌲🌲Garden Valley International School, Kotla Bajwara 🌲🌲participated in the
Poster Making Competition held in the school and raised their voices in a protest to ban
the 🚫Chinese String(Dor)🚫 in our country.
Students also wrote a letter to our 🇮🇳Honourable Chief Minister Sardar Bhagwant Mann🇮🇳 to
strictly prohibit the sale of Chinese Dor(Plastic Thread/String). Every year we see
various instances when people receive injuries or even die because of Chinese String.
Flying kites at festivals is very common in our country.
The moments of happiness can turn into sadness when someone got hurt due to the plastic
thread. Our students also took the pledge that they will not use Chinese dor and will
further spread awareness in the surroundings. Students made beautiful and inspiring
drawings and posters on " Say No to Chinese Dor".
